Brief Overview

Hockenheim came to become an official F1 race back in 1970 when the drivers decided to boycott the Nurgburgring. “Old” Hockenheim from 1965 to 2001 was well known for its infamous car setup dilemma. It contained a “Forest Section” which forced drivers to opt for a low downforce setup as it was basically a mini Mulsanne Straight. After the Forest Section came the “Stadium Section” which contained a series of low/med speed corners that made it really tough to setup and drive.

With Daniel Ricciardo’s host of engine penalties he will be starting at the back of the grid, will we see some crazy SENDS?
